Search and Rescue Reporting
Search and rescue volunteers are highly skilled, dedicated individuals who give their time and expertise to search for, find, and rescue people who are in all sorts of dangerous situations. When a search and rescue team is dispatched to assist, it is called tasking. The Office of the Fire Commissioner, with the assistance of the Search and Rescue Association of Alberta, tracks all tasks assigned to search and rescue teams. The documents below chronicle Alberta's search and rescue members' tasks, training, and related activities in daily situational reports.
